Prednisolone is in a class of drugs called steroids, that include hormones cortisone and hydrocortisone. Prednisolone prevents the release of substances in the body that cause inflammation. Tell the doctor if you have liver or kidney illness, diabetes, tuberculosis, belly sore, malaria, asthenic bulbar paralysis, glaucoma, psychic disorder or if you are pregnant. Avoid being near people who are sick or have infections and call your doctor for preventive treatment if you are exposed to chicken pox or measles. Do not receive a 'live' vaccine while you are being treated with Prednisolone.
Don't use if you have an allergy, diabetes and Itsenko-Cushing syndrome, in pregnant and elderly people, have psychosis, osteoporosis, stomach sores, recently surgery, syphilis or tuberculosis.
Possible side effect
Call your doctor if you have problems with your vision, swelling, rapid weight gain, feeling short of breath, depression, unusual thoughts or behavior, convulsions, bloody or tarry stools, pancreatitis sickness, retching, low potassium, increased urination, high blood pressure or mood changes.
Correct the intake dose, during the cooperation the drug with anti-diabetic and and anticoagulant drugs.

Call emergency medical attention if you think you have used too much of this medicine. Overdose symptoms may include thinning skin, changes in body fat, increased acne or facial hair, menstrual problems.
Store your medicines at room temperature between 20-25 C (68-77 F). Store away from moisture and light. Keep it out of the reach of children and away from pets.
